Disadvantaged Business Manager Steph Suddeth summarized our team's feelings after winning two Colorado Contractors Association Infrastructure Construction Excellence Awards. Our I-76 York to Dahlia Road Reconstruction received first place in the Bridge and Structures (Colorado Department of Transportation) category and Taxiway DS East took first place in the Airport Infrastructure category.
Additionally, our Downtown Estes Park Loop project received an honorable mention in the Non-Interstate Roadways (Non-Colorado Department of Transportation) category.
The CCA website states the awards honor contractors "for their outstanding projects and accomplishments in 2024."
The I-76 project for CDOT replaced two aging highway bridges with a stronger structure.
The Taxiway DS project at Denver International Airport created a new dual entrance/exit near Concourse C, alleviating congestion caused by the previous single taxiway design.
