How to Update
Image Specs
Header
Logo

To update the header logo:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Images > HeaderLogo
  2. Click Browse to open the Media Library
  3. Click on the Tree View icon on the top right to view the media library tree
    1. Navigate to Media > FDCorp > Logo and select (or upload first and then select) the new logo

Level 1 Navigation

Add a level 1 navigation item:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Header Navigation
  2. Right-click on Header Navigation and select Insert > NavigationLink
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the navigation link, and click OK
  4. For the new level 1 navigation item:
    1. click Insert link
    2. In the Insert Link dialogue window, navigate to the page you want to link to, and click on it once to select it. The Link Details panel will appear on the right.  Enter the link label in the Description field, and click Insert.
  5. Save and publish your changes

Level 2 Heading

Level 2 headings are used to group level 2 navigation links in the mega nav.  To create a level 2 heading:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Header Navigation > Level 1 Navigation Link
  2. Right click on the level 1 navigation link, and select Insert > NavigationHeading
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the level 2 heading, and click OK
  4. Enter a heading in the Header field, and click OK
  5. Save and publish your changes

Level 2 Navigation

Level 2 navigation items are created under Level 2 Headings.  To create a level 2 navigation item:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Header Navigation > Level 1 Navigation Link > Level 2 Heading
  2. Right-click on the level 2 heading, and select Insert > NavigationLink
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the navigation link, and click OK
  4. For the new level 2 navigation item:
    1. click Insert link
    2. In the Insert Link dialogue window, navigate to the page you want to link to, and click on it once to select it.  The Link Details panel will appear on the right.  Enter the link label in the Description field, and click Insert.
  5. Save and publish your changes
 
Primary Footer
Logo

To update the footer logo:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Images > FooterLogo
  2. Click Browse to open the Media Library
  3. Click on the Tree View icon on the top right to view the media library tree
  4. Navigate to Media > FDCorp > Logo and select (or upload first and then select) the new logo

Text under Logo
  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Texts > FooterText
  2. In the Text field, click on Show editor to open the rich text editor
  3. Update the content, and click Accept
  4. Save and publish your changes
 
Headings

Headings are used to group navigation links in the footer. To create a heading:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Footer Navigation
  2. Right click on  Footer Navigation, and select Insert > NavigationHeading
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the heading, and click OK
  4. Enter a heading in the Header field, and click OK
  5. Save and publish your changes
 
Page Links

Page links are created under headings. To create a page link:

  1. In Content Editor, navigate Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Footer Navigation > Heading
  2. Right-click on the heading, and select Insert > NavigationLink
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the navigation link, and click OK
  4. For the new page link item:
    1. click Insert link
    2. In the Insert Link dialogue window, navigate to the page you want to link to, and click on it once to select it. The Link Details panel will appear on the right.  Enter the link label (page name) in the Description field, and click Insert.
  5. Save and publish your changes
 
Social Icons
  1. In Content Editor, navigate Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Social > SocialFooter
  2. Right-mouse click on Social and select Insert > Social
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the social link, and click OK
  4. Update the following fields:
    1. Social Type - Select the social platform from the dropdown list.
    2. Link - Enter the full URL for destination
  5. Save and publish your changes
 
Secondary Footer
Copyright
  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Texts > Copyright
  2. In the Text field, click on Show editor to open the rich text editor
  3. Update the year, and click Accept
  4. Save and publish your changes
 
Legal Links
  1. In Content Editor, navigate to Sitecore > Content > Flatiron Dragados > FDCorp > Data > Link Lists > Footer Legal Links
  2. Right-mouse click on Footer Legal Links and select Insert > Link
  3. In the Message dialogue window, enter a name for the navigation link, and click OK
  4. For the new link item:
    1. click Insert link
    2. In the Insert Link dialogue window, navigate to the page you want to link to, and click on it once to select it. The Link Details panel will appear on the right.  Enter the link label (page name) in the Description field, and click Insert.
  5. Save and publish your changes
