At the I-80 Yolo project in West Sacramento, the first 55-hour full eastbound closure is now complete.
Crews completed the first phase of the new Reed Avenue off-ramp, and demolished and excavated old roadway at three locations. They poured new concrete approach slabs and roadway at both ends of the Reed Avenue overcrossing and the Lake Washington Boulevard bridge over the railroad.
The full closure stretched from the eastbound connector ramp near the West Capitol Avenue undercrossing to the area near the Reed Avenue undercrossing. A second full closure of eastbound I-80 is scheduled for late July 2025.
