For the fourth year in a row, FlatironDragados team members served as judges for the Heavy Civil division at the Associated Schools of Construction Region 1 Competition in Albany, New York.
The annual event brings together top construction management programs from the Northeast to tackle a real-world project challenge. Teams develop detailed deliverables, including safety plans, cost estimates, schedules and site plans before presenting to an industry judging panel.
These competitions help bridge the gap between classroom learning and field experience. Students apply classroom lessons to real-world challenges while building skills in teamwork, leadership and communication.
