2027Project Overview
The California High-Speed Rail will be the United States' first true high-speed rail system, connecting the state's major regions with trains reaching up to 220 mph. FlatironDragados is leading the design and construction of Package 2-3, a key 65.5-mile segment spanning Fresno, Tulare and Kings Counties.
Key elements include:
- More than 60 grade separations, including viaducts, overpasses and underpasses
- Bridge, roadway, culvert, drainage, trench and tunnel construction and utility relocation
- Multiple at-grade, aerial and below-grade sections
- Relocation of conventional rail lines
- Roadway reconstructions, relocations and resurfacing
As the largest infrastructure project in the U.S., the high-speed rail system is generating thousands of jobs and will reduce congestion and support California’s long-term sustainability goals.
