Denver International Airport project recognized for comprehensive sustainability
Peña Boulevard Phase 1B at Denver International Airport received Envision Silver recognition for its sustainable infrastructure and responsible project delivery.
Envision, administered by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, is a framework that evaluates how infrastructure projects address environmental, social, and economic impacts throughout their lifecycle.
The team integrated sustainable practices throughout planning and construction to enhance the long-term performance of one of the region’s most critical transportation corridors. Project engineers and the environmental department collaborated to ensure monthly sustainability tracking reports were fully supported by detailed documentation and met the rigorous ISI standards.
Peña Boulevard is the primary gateway to Denver International Airport. Phase 1B improvements enhance mobility and reliability for travelers.
